One of our members Karen is also a member of the Windsor Royal Free Singers. Karen organsied a weekend of activities for the singers in the Forest of Dean at the end of June, which included a performance at St Paul’s Church Parkend. The evening included some verses from Poets of the Forest of Dean, as well as some tunes from the Forest Flute Choir. On this occasion we played Singing Bird, Les Savoyards, A Nightingale Sang in Berkley Square and Life Cycle a Plant, all of which were very well received by the audience. The Choir finished the evening with a fantastic performance of Vivaldi’s Gloria which we thoroughly enjoyed! Thank you Karen, for your all your hard work in bringing this event together!
