Coleford Town Twinning Association Concert

Coleford is Twinned with Saint Hilaire de Riez in the Vendée region of France.
We will be taking part in a concert organised by the Twinning Association, which will be held at Christchurch Church

It will feature Berry Hill Band, ourselves and a gospel choir from France. The concert starts at 3pm and will be finished by 4.45, though as we’re playing in the first half, it’s possible to leave at the interval if you need to.

I think that we will need a warm up and a play through on the afternoon of the concert and I am hoping that this can take place in situ. Though, I haven’t organised this yet. Watch this space, I guess.

We have three more rehearsals before this concert-

The programme that I propose is

A Hook or Quantz Trio
Mozart: Enine Kleine Nachtmuzik (First movement only)
New World
Tea for Two

I think that is sufficient variety and it should take about 20 minutes.

I realise that not everyone has all the music and I will sort this ready for the next rehearsal.
