Forest Flute Choir

We have been invited by the Springfield Singers to perform at at Saint Mary’s Lydney. All members, past and present are invited to come along and play as part of our 20th anniversary celebrations.

Please come and support us if you can. The event is free, but donations to Chindren in Need are much appreciated.

Note: Timings for the autumn term will continue as 2-4pm. This will be reviewed at the end of the term with rehearsal remaining in the afternoon or reverting to the morning.

If you play, or used to… if you are rusty and want to get back to it… if you’re above grade 8 or around grade 1, all are welcome to join us from 2-5 pm for an open rehearsal. We’d love to see you!

We will be performing in this charity event at the Phoenix Theatre in Ross-on Wye at 11.30am on Saturday 25th October. Our slot is for 30 minutes, but there will of course be lots of other musicians playing for your enjoyment. Free entry, charity donations welcomed!

There will be an additional rehearsal on Saturday 13th July taken by Matt. This is to replace one that was cancelled. Start at the usual time of 2pm

If you’re at a loose end on Saturday 14 June, and like cheese, wine and a little light flute playing ( let’s face it, who doesn’t?) then you might like to spend an hour at St Paul’s in Parkend. The Riverbank ensemble will be playing music from the baroque and beyond for about 45 minutes, after which you can eat cheese and drink wine..
